Community Commitment

At Rococo Homes, we believe our role as a builder extends far beyond the walls we construct—it’s about helping build a stronger, more connected, and more compassionate community. As a family-owned business rooted in Spruce Grove, giving back to the community that supports us is not just a priority—it’s a core part of who we are. Over the years, we’ve proudly contributed to a wide range of local initiatives that enrich lives and strengthen neighborhoods throughout Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County. We’ve supported the construction of playgrounds at Broxton Park and Muir Lake Schools, assisted in building the Spruce Grove Community Garden’s equipment shed, and played a key role in the expansion of the Parkland Food Bank—helping provide vital infrastructure to support families in need. Rococo Homes is also a strong advocate for youth development and active living. We proudly sponsor local hockey, swimming, volleyball, and softball teams, ensuring young athletes have the opportunities and support they need to learn, grow, and thrive both on and off the field. Our community involvement extends through our active participation in the Rotary Club of Spruce Grove. We support key Rotary initiatives such as the annual Rotary Ribfest, where Rococo is a major sponsor and our founder, Rick Lystang, has served as Master of Ceremonies for five years running. Rick is also the driving force behind the Rotary Ride for You Can Ride 2, a charity motorcycle ride benefiting children with mobility challenges, and is set to become the Rotary Club’s President in the fall of 2026. Beyond these larger initiatives, Rococo Homes regularly contributes to smaller, grassroots efforts—from team sponsorships to volunteer events—driven by our staff’s passion for making a difference. Whether we’re swinging hammers, serving food, fundraising, or cheering from the sidelines, our commitment to community is hands-on and heartfelt. At Rococo Homes, we don’t just build homes—we build community. And we’re proud to stand beside the people, organizations, and causes that make Spruce Grove and the surrounding region such a special place to live and grow.
